Is the expo worth going to for 3/4 lectures like BM,Eng, and FM?
-
I'm interested too (not for those subs though). Good question! :)

Go and drop by the ATARnotes stall! I'll be there on Saturday so I'd be happy to help regarding BM and Eng. /endblatantplug
Not too sure about the lectures though :P My impression is that the free seminars aren't going to be pretty comprehensive. They're probably just there to try to rope you in to paying for their actual lectures. Still, it's good to go for everything else that's there (such as ATARnotes :P).

They can be pretty decent. I remember last year one of the English seminars was actually quite informative. The economics seminar by Daniel Strauss was entertaining as well. Just depends on who's running it.

What will be at the ATARnotes stall?

What will be at the ATARnotes stall?
Some volunteers plus mods/admin people to answer questions. Me on Friday :P
I notice there are no lectures for bio at a good time for school students (12 pm on friday i think is only one)
What exactly can be achieved from going to stalls, is it only general advice / talking? or is there useful notes, etc .
Mainly advice and talking. All the uni's congregating in the same place makes it more convenient to work out where you want to go next year. It's like one big open day (on neutral territory). If you keep an eye out, you could pick up some freebies as well.

I'm going on Sunday and not sure which seminar to attend during 12:30.
It's either English from VATE or VCE strategies from TSFX.
And also for 1:15, I'm not sure to attend the MelbUni seminar or the Neap Chemistry. What exactly will they talk about in these subject seminars? Just advertising I guess?
