Title: Considerations on Uni subjects seeking help
Post by: mystikal on June 24, 2008, 09:14:29 pm
heys i was just wondering that i am interested in doing a uni subject next year instead of doing physics (i just suck at it) and i was considering doing
Uni Maths
Uni Chemistry
Uni Japanese ( I would have already completed Jap Unit 3/4)
Which of the three do you reckon i should do? O yea i fulfill all the requirements for each subject so yea. == Plus i havent heard anyone from my school do uni chemistry or uni japanese but it can be done all you need to do is apply. I dont know whats the workload is for the chemistry(if it related to the VCE) or japanese(the point of me doing 3/4 jap dis year was to not do it next year) So yea seeking your opinions

i reckon it'd be good to do a uni subject alongside with the same year 12 subject so that u hav sort of a less workload (i dont really do much work for my vce accounting). that said i have 2 friends doing uni chem n from what they've been saying i think it's pretty different...

i think uni maths would relate quite a bit to spesh? i wud think thats ur best bet... all the best in deciding =)

Lots of people here have done/do uni maths and say it is a good supplement to specialist maths (plus it allegedly a bit of a bludge?).

I'd say Uni Maths. Uni Jap would have been good to do concurrently with VCE Jap, or if you're dead set on studying Japanese at uni, but I'd say Uni Maths from those 3.

hrnmmm thx for the advice, == im not really good at maths well not pro (even though i do spesh), im doing good at chem atm so i my decision is swaying towards that, the uni jap is not really wat i want to study in uni, i want to get into medicine so yea plus its in caufield which is a bit of a distance for me so uni jap is not really favourable atm but im still up for suggestions  ;D

UMEP implies University of Melbourne Enhancement Program

MUEP implies Monash Universeity Enhancement Program

these are the only two universities offering Enhancement programs at this time.
