Just wondering how many hours working people take a week, I'm in year 11 and I'm working around 10+ (way too much I know)
I'm thinking 5 hours or so would be reasonable? Anyone else feel free to add input.

10 hours is enough for year 12 man.

I think he means work as in paid work, not study

oh :P Through most year 11 I did about 7 or 8 hours a week and it seemed like about the right amount for me. I'm not working this year though... I reckon I could hold down a job this year too with similar hours, but I'm doing more extra curricula stuff instead. But 10 hours a week would probably be manageable.

I tend to do 2-3 shifts a week, so 10-16 hours. It's a good break from study and school and it's good to be getting a bit of money behind me for uni next year.

I'd say a shift/week. 4-8 hours should suffice. If you want money, you have 3-4 whole months from November/December to March to make a tonne of money.

I only did 1 shift a week. Didn't want to over commit to work. In the lead up to exams, I took 2 months off, which has turned into indefinite leave. :P

I do roughly 15 hours a week on part time which allows me to take annual leave once I get hit with exams, thus getting paid for exams. Works great though, I run around lots at work soibasically count this to bevy exercise that I would be unable to do. Just manage your work around your sacs a d it should be fine.
