Who went to the pathwaystogenius today? how did you guys find it?
i thought it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooooood. hes such a good speaker and was funnier than the comedian they brought in. and those clips and animations were freaking amazing :D
haha loved the way we got to txt messages to him too during the lecture, some of those comments really got me laughing :2funny:
one bad thing i thought though, was that the notes weren't really structured that well? but besides that, was pretty happy with the stack of exam papers we got!
-
Pls give me more details on the exams?
Are there sols aswell?
Is the structure as VCAA would do it?
Basically, is it worth my time to go to Psych on 4th June....

the exams are made by the company. theyre not structure like VCAA (more informally set out) - most of them only had 21 muliplle choice questions, and two short answer questions. but they said on the front cover "It has a different format and length to a typical VCAA exam and is designed as a revision tool for students attending our events."
Yup, there are solutions for all the exams given as well as solutions to the questions in your notes.
Hm, I would say you should go. In case you might miss out on anythign good :D
-
What! Then that's extremely misleading... Any reasonable person would think that when promised six "free" practice exams they would be given exams that are at least of proper length. More like two/three free practice exams that we payed some poor student peanuts to make in a rush.
-
ATAR, the Biology exam has 25 MC and about 8 short answer questions.
-
It's funny how you could've just rocked up without paying as well as receiving a set of notesss...

Lol so it isn't a full exam. hmm...still deciding on whether to go or not.

That comedian was funny in a sad kind of way. Couldn't help feeling bad for him.
Obviously there's been a lotta hype (in a bad way) regarding P2G recently, but ignoring the marketing bs, the lecture was great, notes are quite good and I've only glanced at the exams so far, they seem to be more or less allright.
-
Glad to hear the lectures themselves were good quality :)
-
@ ATAR , yeah i heard ;D
and dudeeeeeeee, bailing on me on squash are we? i was so pumped but you werent there

Even thought it isn't a full exam, the quality of the questions are okay (the tricky type of questions).

Lol yea, it was sad the way he kept referring to our notes, trying to make jokes out of that hehe
omg the biology bandit hahaaa and that dude with the feet up in the balcony
! :2funny:
The good thing about the lecture was that they tried to make it fun and it didn't really seem to drag on. definitely worth 47 bucks
i sort of expected a theatre with actual lecture chairs and mini tables, instead it was a hall thing with chairs in rows. couldnt really write properly :|
but the screen was nice and big

I came down with respiratory tract infection. fml I was pumped aswell. Still, I've beaten you once - my deed is done. All I'm giving you is a second chance to attempt to beat me ::) :P
-
Hey the time you beat me was the first time ive ever played squash... hardly a defeat !

I totally agree! I don't know how they could've checked anyone off though..
My friends might just "rock up" at the chem lecture..
