Everyone's been talking about a guy named Jack who does tutoring in his garage at Springvale,

Who is he? and where is he?

He's an asian man that teaches specialist, math methods, chemistry and physics. Classroom environment ranging from 30-60 students, also handing out his famous notes which are comprehensive. He's located on victoria avenue, but can't give the precise address atm.

I've heard he's very good too. Although I've also heard that sometimes there are too many people, does anyone know if this is a problem?

So is it just like a lecture, he does stuff on a board while 30-60 kids listen?
Would be hard to get help with specific difficulties

I don't think it's for specific help. More so if you're keen on keeping up/getting ahead of the course (whilst receiving some good notes).

Hey guys,

I'm in first year uni this year, and in the past, I've been to Jacks for chem. He offers good notes, but it's mostly going for theory, not individual help, as there are always way too many students in one class.

I honestly have a strong distaste for Jack's tutoring because I have corrected him for his own conceptual errors especially in Maths, many, many times...you have to consider that he's somebody who has had no tertiary maths education - he's a biochemist

We ended up arguing over whether sec(-x) and sec(x) are they same thing, and yes they are, because sec(x) is an even function, but he was adamant he was right
And he also sometimes gives questionable explanations in chem and physics - explanations that won't be enough to get you the mark in an exam for example

I know many yr11&12 students coming there to study topics that are "a head" of what's taught in class and ending up confusing themselves cause they don't even know well enough what's happening in class.
