Just to clarify for Charmz; if you did last year's exam, double your score and that should be what your score should be

Don't ask why they double it: no clue

they double mark it. So if you get a statement of marks, a 2 mark question, for example, will be out of 4 marks.
This is how it's possible to lose half marks - if one assessor gives you the mark and the other doesn't. If your assessors disagree by more than 5 marks, it's remarked by a senior assessor.

I read somewhere that for the sciences + accounting, there is only one assessor? All other subjects have at least two assessors because there are different interpretations/methods of working out; whereas the sciences there are just some general points that they look for. Can anyone confirm this?

This was a really hard exam. I doubt the A+ mark this year will be this low..
The Unit 4 Exam was better and the A+ mark was 125/150 which is 62-63/75

But really you would wish for a hard exam. Cause as long as you know your stuff you'll be fine. I thought I did really bad on the first exam but ended up getting a mid A+ because of how bad everyone else went :P

On the Unit 4 exam I lost half as many marks as I did on Unit 3 for pretty much the same score (mid A+)

I can 100% confirm that the sciences (well Bio and Chem at least, the ones I studied) are double marked. For a start, there were questions where I got the mark from one examiner but not the other. Apart from that, I've spoken to examiners about it.
