Hi Everybody!
So I'm at Uni and am jobless so I thought I'd offer a tuition service.
Here are my credentials:
- Completed VCE in 2009 as Dux of my school
- Awarded an ENTER of 99.45 and raw study scores of:
Methods: 48, Specialist: 40, Physics: 46, Chemistry: 43, Biology: 41, English Language: 41. - Awarded the Monash University Engineering Scholarship.
- Weighted Average Mark after Semester 1, 2011: 95.5%
I am currently studying the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering double degree, with Majors in Maths, Physics & Chemical Engineering.
My Science units this year are Maths, Physics and Chemistry, so my knowledge in these areas is far greater than what is needed for VCE. This will allow me to teach you concepts in greater detail so you actually understand them, rather than rote learning them.
I will employ a no-nonsense approach to tutoring, that is there will be no waffle about irrelevant topics, no pointless bits of information added, I will teach you what you need to know for each subject(Appropriate background material is of course taught so you have an understanding of why something is the way it is).
The subjects I offer tuition for are Year 11 and 12 Methods, General Maths Advanced/Specialist, Physics, Chemistry as well as year 10 and below Maths and Science.
I have a vast collection of Practice Exams, self-made notes(I condense a topic into a 1 page summary of the main concepts and points for easy revision), theory book for methods and specialist, cheat sheets for physics etc. This is all electronic and can be yours by having me as your tutor!
I live in Clayton so if you live around there I can come to you, or if you're further away I can tutor you at the Monash Clayton Hargrave Andrew Library. If these locations don't suit then shoot me a PM and we can discuss other options.
Fees are $30/hour for individuals and $50/hour for groups of two. If I can tutor you at one of the above locations then the price will be $25/hour for individuals and $40 for groups of two.
