Title: GAT result
Post by: dmanz on June 15, 2011, 08:04:22 pm
After doing the GAT last year i am pleased with my results.

i am aware that the GAT can only benefit your atar but what happens if you do perform better on one GAT and worse on the other. Do they take the better GAT result?

I think they take the GAT result for the actual year that you finish off VCE, so the one you do in year 12 will count towards your actual ATAR

Zafaraaaa is correct. Your GAT result from last year is history. Today's paper is now what matters.

Wait so the GAT I did today has no bearing on my study score for Literature this year?

It does; it's just that your GAT score this year will only be valid for the VCE subject(s) you complete this year
