Just curious. :)

August 8

How do we get them?
-
School gives you a letter on that day or you get one in the mail
-
Oh sweet
Thanks :)
Ummm, through school you should get an envelope that gives you your grade for your mid-years (so either A+, A, B+, etc.).
No number marks, just letter grades. I think if you really want a numbered mark, you need to pay 20 dollars or so for VCAA to mail you your numbers :)

Is it also true that we can only get a statement of marks at the end of the year?
Supposedly we have to look over the paper with our teacher if we wish to see our marks at this stage of the year. (this is info from friends who did a midyear exam last year)
-
It's ~$9 for SoM.
you can get a Unit 3 SoM at the end of the year if you wish.
-
About when would be the earliest we can get our SoMs?
I mean they're not gonna motivate me to study harder if I get em at the end of the year!
-
As soon as you receive your mid-year result (aug 8) SoMs will be delivered.
-
You can get the statement of marks for midyears (includes number marks for each q and grade cutoffs), just order it soon and it should arrive a week or less after your normal result if done over a month in advance.
-
A month in advance? Really?
So I should send off a SoM by mid-July?

only over a month in advance so then they can do yours before most people and get it quicker. the longer the wait to send it, the longer you'll be getting it after the mid year results are released. i did mine almost right away and within a week i got it after mid years results. up to you really if you are that interested in knowing how you really did on the exam.. .

I applied for my SoM about a week before I got the letter grade and got the SoM in the same week as the letter grade last year
