Hey guys,
being in the subject selection process, i want to hear your opinions about this subject. Does it require a considerable amount of time to achieve higher than a 40 and require an adequate teacher to elloborate on the concepts? So far this year, i have achieved an A+ consistently throughout all my SACs but only achieved 78% on the exam even though i have never studied for IT. Is the exam difficult to achieve an A+ and does it consists of many open-ended questions? I also like to hear your past experiences on how you tackle the exam.
Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks guys

It seriously depends on how much prior knowledge you have. If you are uncomfortable with using the computer and Office applications (Excel in particular), you may struggle.
Unfortunately, the assumption of prior knowledge is quite strong in IT. For someone who doesn't have a full appreciation of the context in which IT exists in today's society, there can be difficulty. However, if you're good at absorbing a LOT of concepts and 'by-the-ways', you will be fine.
If you know your stuff, you're already on track for a 40+...I can tell you that I did next to nil work (in fact, I could be found playing various games) during IP&M and still got 45 - but that's coming from having being around computers / programming (badly, in hindsight) since I was 4 or 5.
