I missed out on an A+ by 4 marks according to my score of 160/180. If this was out of 90, I'd only have missed out by 2 marks.
It's a dumb question, but does the score doubling handicap me in any way? :(
-
No, the margin is still the same. So don't worry :)
-
Thanks Eriny. ^_^
So in the next exam, should I get an extra minimum of 4 marks or 2 marks to even out two A+s?
-
yeah , it should be exactly the same.... :)
Either way, ur score is very close to the A+ margin...
So if you do extra well in ur other exam, you still have a chance of getting a SS of over 40 :P
-
Did you get your Statement of Marks today? I faxed mine last nite. I wonder when I'll get it...
Has anyone else got it yet?
-
Yes Costargh, I did! It'll take you a while to get it, since a lot of people would have put theirs in too recently. I submitted mine AGES ago. ^_^ Good job on your A+ for accounting also!

I'm gonna send mine in tomorrow.
I don't know if i wanna see it or not LoLz...hahaa
Knowing that i got an A+ feels awesome :D
But knowing that i got a low A+ will not....

HAHA AGREE!
If it says 76/90 I'll be sad :( lol It probz will. What would be a mid range A+ Roxi? because I think a High A+ would be like 88/90 maybe and I think maybe even 80/90 would be mid-range or something not as high as expected
-
Costargh I think getting an A+ already secures you in the 40 range, so dont worry too much. ^_^
-
It doesn't actually lol. I have heard of people with A+ A+ A+ = 39
I would feel a hell of a lot more secure if I had a mid-range A+ in this exam going into the end of year
-
Hmm, i don't think there is any way we can find out what would be mid-range.
I'm guessing it may be somewhere between 80/90 to 84/90
Personally, i would be happy with anything above 80/90 :)
Hopefully that will be enough for us to have a chance to get 45+
But i really doubt i got above 80.
I'm gonna be totally shattered if i got like 76/90 too :( lolz

Yeah, i totally agree with you AGAIN :P haha
Those ppl must have gotten like the lowest A+'s :(
Hmm, how's ur ranking for sacs?
-
Ranked 2nd for SACs to a guy who got 48 in methods cas last year lol
We were the only two A+'s.
I don't really compete with him cause hes a genius but I am happy with where I am at

got mine today! just missed B+ by a 1.5 marks... gahh
-
Before of after doubling?
-
before doubling..
B+ was what I was aiming for.
-
RD, thats hella close to a B+ anyway, so it'd be really easy to make up in the next exam. Chin up kiddo!

I mailed off my application form for a Statement of Marks on the Monday, and they took the money off the credit card today. Hopefully it should come tomorrow.

Yes, some people can get double points which enhances their ENTER. This can be done by doing two enhancement studies.

are you sure? I thought a student cannot concurrently take two enhancement subjects...

That's right Mao.
Only one university enhancement counts. Unless he means units 3/4 subjects in year 11 or something.

Yes, the university enhancement takes the 6th spot.
