Title: If you could do more VCE subjects, what would they be?
Post by: psychlaw on August 07, 2008, 07:11:54 pm
If VCE required 9 subjects for an enter score, what else would you pick (which subjects do you want to do that your not currently doing)

I would choose Business Management, English Language and History Revolutions....

All interest me, I'm even considering doing BusMan next year via Distance (as a 7th subject) as the workload seems light compared to other studies

Well if my school offered them I would have done English Language, Classical Societies and Cultures and Renaissance History.
So I guess those 3 plus my current subjects.

Latin (my #1 regret in VCE is not doing Latin!!)
Renaissance History
UMEP History
French (I could have done this, but I wasn't confident enough in my speaking ability to go ahead with it - but if I could do 9 subjects this would definitely be one)

UMEP anything (regretting this big time)

Interest-wise tho ... I'd keep music solo, English, int studies and German, and pick up philosophy, UMEP music, literature and politics

I also want to do Psychology (interest).

I could clean up all my interests by taking a BSc. or MSc. later in life. I might do that if I end up doing a finance related job that I'm not very enthusiastic about (still interested, but economist please), but ends up making me rich.

I was going to do Economics, but then a spot opened in one of the Accounting classes so I did accounting instead in year 12

Probably spesh, economics and psychology.

Would have said Bus Mgmt, but one of my Uni subjects (MGC1010 - Managing People and Organisations) more or less was a rehash of this anyway.
