I'm at a stage where I have six subject to pick from for next year (year 12), and I can't pick what I should get rid of...
I considered doing all six, but have decided it would be too much work for year 12, and sort of pointless seeing as only five will count (having already done a 3/4 in year 11)
I'll give information on the subjects and my thoughts of them and what I'm interested in, for the future and maybe you guys could help me decide
The subjects are bio, chem, further, busman, methods and english
I'm NOT dropping methods (keep options open) and english (have to do) and chem (want to keep options open)
Business Management - well its a bludge, I think I can get a good score in this aswell, this was the closest to being dropped but if I dropped this I'd have all maths/science and I want atleast one non-maths/science
Further - Its really easy, and I think I can do well in it and get a good score in this..... =/
Biology - I really don't want to drop this as it directly correlates with what I hope to achieve in the future
In an ideal world, chemistry is what would be dropped. But its a prereq for so many courses, particularily the ones I'm interested in (Health Sciences, Engineering)

don't do 6, I can tell you that now =]
you have to choose between what you like and what you need. I would probably drop further because it's uninteresting

actually if i was you i would drop biology since it's such a drainer, does your head in and all in all, scales down. Further is easy, boring but hey it's better then trying to memorize 10 letter words. business management, well i've heard some good feedback on this so i might do it myself next year. I recommend keeping it since it's interesting, quite easy and doesn't scale down too much.

Biology: if you're interested in health sciences, keep this, it's very useful I think (ask BA22 though)
Business management: most boring subject ever IMO :P but it is very easy, just straight memorising basically, and like you said it gives you a break from the maths/science
Therefore I would suggest you drop further. You're already doing a maths subject + chem which is a fair bit of calculations too, so unless you really really love maths, I reckon drop it. Busman is easier marks than further, since further has people who are excellent at maths and who are looking for an easy 45+, while busman is more of a slackers subject (most of the almost-drop-outs-I'm-amazed-they-finished-high-school people at my school did busman lol)
In the end though, we can give you all the advice in the world but only you know truly what you want :)

I'm suggesting dropping Further. You should be able to do well in Business Management, and I don't want to recommend you to drop Biology, since you don't want to yourself. So yeah.
One maths subject is enough, really. (Coming from someone who doesn't do any maths).

If I were you I'd drop Business Management in a flash. My friend does it...boy, what an idiot.

I'd drop Further Maths.
It's more of a waste of time than Business
