...I remember playing a game throughout last year I liked to call 'if I stopped studying now...' and would guess what my ENTER would be if I stopped studying then and only did the bare minimum in class (as in, I'd learn it all but not revise). My estimate was about 95 by August...
Lets do that game :)
85 for me
-
88.65
-
98.3
(if this was august 2007, with the hindsight of knowing my enter ended up being > 99.5 which I didn't think would happen)
-
85 probably
-
80-85
-
hard to say.. but probably 80. i'll probably get that score even if i kept studying though lol
-
I would get 0.
If I stopped studying, I wouldn't be able to remember half the stuff I need to remember for the exam.
-
Lol I don't know.. 80 mayB
-
95.05
-
48.55
-
48.55
Edit : 90
-
Probably in the 80's somewhere.
-
i will find it impossible to stop :P
-
How can you NOT study... It's inhumane when you are a VCE student, competing for the best ENTER score possible.
But... I like games, and in this situation, I would probably get mid 70's to low 80's... Studying saves my life :)

i'm sure it is morally acceptable to not study [at least not cruel/savage] :P

Hehe, when you have parents like mine, everything is inhumane :)
-
99.00
Probably fail all my university subjects this semester though (hey it's only 3rd week!)
-
69.69
-
I should say that I only thought 95 because I started studying quite early and knew all the stuff I was supposed to know.
Good topic :)
-
i'm going to say 89
-
25
I still have another year to go.
-
like mid-50s
-
Hmm. I'd do good in Methods and Spec exam, i suppose. But in exam 2 it would a totally different story [due to time constraints, need to study how to manage the time lol].
So probably about a 29-33 in english, a 35-6 in methods and 33-35 in spec and 36 for econ.
So, 87.15 - 91.10 lol. (woah oh shit).
-
96
I have 2 subjects done, done my chemistry midyear (A+) and I've already decided which texts I'm doing for the English exam and have quite a few essays done....
I hate to boast guys but i pretty much have to do one chem exam (33%) and English exam (technically 50%) for the rest of the year. (for my top 4) and have already done 60% of Monash uni subject - the worst is behind me :)
Naww, you're not boasting. At this stage of the year I pretty much I knew I'd get my first preference (clearly-in of 97.45 in 2005 -- dropped to 96.05 in 2006, my year)
-
id prolly get like a 70 lol

That would be epic fail for u eh :P.
As for me, If i stopped studying this time in 2006, I probably would have got around 93-95.
-
Hmmm, this topic is open to interpretation, by "stopped studying" do you mean you do all the work at school and just come home and do nothing (if this is the case I could get a 70)
Or do you mean you don't even try at school and just do the exams and sacs with your current knowledge (If this is the case, I'd be suprised if I got higher then 10)
I've still got a year to go though

At this stage of the year I was pretty sure I'd get my first preference, which needed a 99. I would've always done well in spec, english, and UMEP maths by about this point. The only one which got better was french - which I fucked up anyway.

haha, you and I have a very different idea of what it means to fuck up. 45 scaled in French is not "fucked up" in my opinion :D

actually it only scaled to 44 :(
-
yeah u failed
-
like, a 70.
lol
-
I already stopped studying for methods. Might as well face it, I will fail the exam :(... As for the rest, I think I already posted here before. :P

lol....i'm the opposite. I only started studying for methods. Yes, in the last 2 months of year 12 I decided to bring back my maths skills from hybernation. Anyway hang in there!!! You're almost at your finish line, why give up? Just study as hard as you can then you know you walked into the exam doing your best.
as for me, if I stopped studying now I'll probably get in the 70's. I'm a big crammer, so most of the things I learn are right before the exam. Seeing as the exams are still in a couple of months I haven't started cramming I'll be screwed.
-
i hope so man. im dreading exam 1, exam 2 will be easy :) <3 calculator.
-
lol... if I got 2 more marks on exam 1 I would be going to at least minimum Commerce @ Monash :( lol
-
Clashed with Accounting and Economics; two subjects I love
-
How bout 'starting' studying now? :S
-
i would be worried about section 2 because they can ask you pretty much anything if they establish it so the calc wont necessarily be your saviour
also, make sure you dont assume the yellow page in the middle of the exam is the last page (also yellow) as i made this mistake last year and had to do half the exam in about 8 of the most stressful minutes of my life.....
Lol yeah calculator sacs scare the crap outta me. Non-calculator exams are usually very basic, which is nice. Speaking of calculator sacs... I have another one tomorrow :(
-
Calculator SAC's annoy me! It's bad enough we have SAC's without a calculator or notes (don't remember anything), and when you are allowed a calculator, they give you stuff you haven't even learned (well maybe you have, but I can never remember what to do..). Maths, it will be the death of me.. :(
-
Calculator sacs/exams are 10x more easier! :P
-
^
With a CAS calculator... I am so old fashioned, with my Ti-84 :)
-
Nah, even scientific calculator >>>>>>>> no calculator.
-
If I stopped studying now, I would be an idiot whose just wasted a year
-
If I stopped studying now, I'd probably get UG for Bio, Chem and Methods. I'm about 3 chapters behind for each of them :P
-
99.90
0.05 drop from wat i wud get if studied......
-
v.nice ganges!

I get that in maths WITH study. :(
