i dont know if thats a good or bad thing!
-
Only 2 essay options for EL =/
-
4 questions to make up 2/3 of exam :( (eco)
hmmmm
-
Only 2 essay options for EL =/
NOOOOOO :(
-
maths methods seems nice this year
only 10 questions for exam 1
and then 22 and 4 for exam 2 :)
but remember these are only a sample, but im pretty sure these are how they are going to be
-
Ehhhh this makes me feel uneasy :S
-

Yeah, I just noticed that D:
And oh no: Legal Studies only has 11 questions.
I wonder how accurate this will be?
-
How accurate are these usually?
-
from my experience im pretty sure they are quite accurate. for example last years legal exam and this years mid yr psych exam. lol
-
They're accurate. They only wouldn't be if someone made a typo etc.

"Students should note that the number of pages, questions and marks shown for the examination may differ slightly from the number indicated in the actual examination books given to students on the day of the examination."

I know it says that, but from experience I do not know yet of a sample cover page that has not matched up to the real one :)
-
ditto that

3 Q's for BM.
-
Why do I get the feeling though that for BM, it'll probly stretch down to bloody question 2.z or something. Damn the deceptive question numbering in BM <_< Good thing about it though is that there won't be a lot of different case study material to read and relate to it seems.

Bad thing about it, is that we're going to have to constantly keep flipping back to the original stimulus- which is going to be quite annoying in the exam
EDIT: that's socially irresponsible VCAA:P
-
lol the coversheets last year were so valuable to me (for acc and bus. man) last year as they told me the number of questions on the exam.
But now it's useless... I already know how many questions theres gonna be for specialist, methods, econ and english (lol obviously -___-). :P
-
im scared
-
im scared
Never fear the darkness...
-
Software Development exam is 89 marks - you'd think VCAA would add an easy 1 mark question just to make it a nice round number
-
lol, imagine if they accidentally showed the whole exam and they didnt know about it.
-
lol
with media its 65 marks. couldn't they just make it 60 or 70 lol
edit: omg i know. i was thinking that to myself lol
-
Further Maths exam 2 - the core section now has 5 questions instead of the normal 3?? Hopefully that isn't correct.

Uh ohs :(
-
still the same number of marks though (i think)
-
Each question is a different situation...so more questions = more time consuming :(
Its really good when there are many parts to the same question in the core, coz if your lucky, sometimes after putting the data into your calculator only once, it might come in handy for other parts of the question.
Whereas if you have more questions, you'll have to familiarise yourself with the new question. And if are required to put data into your calc, you'll need to put new data in your calc for the new question, which takes a bit of time sometimes, and more chance of making an error :P
-
yeah but the other side of it is that they could go into so much more detail with one question
the starting questions with different situations are usually very easy (like reading off a graph)
-
i just hope media is easy! and they don't make it stupid like they did last year with 2 essay questions >:(

Hmm, i still like less questions :)
If you are well prepared for the exam, then you should be able to answer easy questions as well as more detailed questions.
For me, its just the time that I'm worried about :(
-
That's nice of them for releasing the cover pages. :)
And I don't know why I'm sharing this secret but import the second page of Maths Methods Exam 1 into Photoshop and play around with the hue and saturation. I swear I see "Question 1 Let f(x)..." ::)

lol, his kidding around based on the fact that for this methods study design, the first question has always started with "let f(x)..."
-
Well I've only tallied one who fell for it. :P
And is that true, psychlaw? I never knew that or picked that up whilst doing trial papers.
-
Lol poor accountants, 2 question, 90 marks.
-
lol, imagine if they accidentally showed the whole exam and they didnt know about it.
i was actually hoping that would happen

Hmm, why? ???
