Post by: methodsboy on October 21, 2008, 02:30:29 pm
hi all,
im a yr11 student doing IT this year and i was wondering what programming is like next year?
i found yr11 programming quite easy this year as the code was spoon-fed to us.
leave some of ur thoughts behind...

Its sort of the same but with some new stuff, like writing and reading files and etc.
Loops will probably be the hardest thing in programming.

what about the theory work?
is it comprehensible even if u have limited knowledge in programming code?

theory work isn't that hard if you have a little knowledge about computers
learn about networks(like topologies, architecture etc.) and basic stuff about comps (what RAM,ROM does etc.)

Well, the programming experience and knowledge is very useful for algorithm questions, but theory makes up most the exam.
