Title: Study Score Estimation
Post by: Rahat on November 12, 2008, 10:33:17 am
Hello VCE NOTERS,

I'm brand new to the site and I've found heaps of useful info from the posts people have put up so thank you.  :)

I just had a question.

I'm counting on media to get me a high ENTER and I just wanted to know what my SAC marks would equivelate to in terms of a study score.

I got 118/120 for my SACs. So I got A+ got both semesters. And i got an A for my production. I did photography.

Can I get 45+ on the exam if I ace it?

thanks!

(2007) Lit (33)

(2008)- Media (45+)
           English (38-40 hopefully)
           Business Management (43+)
Further (Anything above 25 would amaze me)
           French (35+ raw)

yep i think you should be able to, providing though the A for your production was high.

No idea how high it was lol! All we got back was the mark.

But I mean I'd be happy with a 45.

Im on 90/120 for Sacs, but im ranked 1 in my school, so whatever I get on the exam my sac mark will turn into that, thats what I've been told.

I've got A+ on production.

Does anyone know the statistics for media exams?

E.g. how much people get A+, how many marks can we fall short before we cant get the A+ etc?

That varies from year to year, because obviously exam performance is subject to the difficulty of each years exam. Last year however, 47/65 would get you an A+. With 7% of the state fitting into this bracket.

only 47/65 for an A+ .... That's only 70 or so percent. Seems easy enough to get. Wonder what it will be for this year.
