"Mary is a very romantic person"

"Mary is very romantic"

Which one is correct?

if it was the second one im pretty sure u wouldnt have the 'zhei ge ren'

Why cant i see the letters? all i see is boxes like [] [] [] []

Although i dont understand chinese, and i cant translate it,
does anyone know how i can fix my prob? (sorry if this is going of the point of this thread :))

Most likely reason why is because you don't have the asian languages (chinese, japanese + korean) installed on your computer.
If you do, then I can't help further :P

How do i get them? i just dont like seeing those boxes (N) they are an eye sore

ah yeah i thought it was 1st one as well... but my teacher says its the second one because ze ge ren is mainly emphasizing Mary not emphasizing romantic. So ze ge ren can be emitted from the sentence.

Oh and also i use a program called So Gou to type chinese u can google it and download it, really easy to use :)

Dw i found the answer its meant to be Mary is very romantic. the "ze ge ren" here can be omitted in fact because its emphasizing Mary, NOT a person. So technically Mary is a very romantic PERSON is wrong. romantic here is an adjective describing person and also there is a subject (Mary) and an object (person). Where as in the original sentence "ze ge ren" is emphasizing Mary and there is only Mary as the subject, no object.
