Title: UMEP/MUEP competition
Post by: dekoyl on November 15, 2008, 03:28:18 pm: When doing UMEP subjects, do you compete with year 12s or university students as well as year 12s?
I often see people post their achievements such as equal first in course etc. so that got me wondering.

Yeah it should be really interesting and fun. I start two weeks of transition on monday so doing some methods now.

If so, you will only be competing against people with the same course-code [generally that is limited to only enhancement, though I know for Monash it also includes first year students down at Gippsland and off-campus students]. If not, there will be no competition and your raw score is counted. (=

The above only applies to maths kids lol. Pretty much an in-joke.
(Dr. Hough is the maths co-ordinator who manages the 'on-campus' students. The off-campus kids have a different person managing, and Dr. Hough wants his students to beat them.)

are you doing MUEP maths? is Dr. Hough or Couchman taking you guys?
