can you still get into a course if your score is slightly lower than the 2010 ENTER cutoff?
-
omg same here
I wanted to do Arts commerce but I am 0.5 mark away
><
-
Yes - Clearly-in could change significantly every year. =]
WAIT! Your thread title says 'minimum ATAR'. If it's lower than minimum then you can't get in - like Unimelb has minimum ATARs.
-
You really need to ask the faculty that you want to go in (for Arts/Commerce, I believe you would ask the Commerce faculty because Commerce is the degree with the higher requirement). There are things that you can do, particularly if you did well in related subjects. You can always send a letter to the appropriate Dean as well.

Sorry, but just to double check, if my ATAR is higher than the fringe enter, but below the clearly in, does that mean I have a chance of going in? :S Or it still isn't confirmed
Thanks!
-
There's a fair chance but it can't be confirmed unfortunately.
-
Oh, alright thanks :D
-
Sorry gunna hijack this...
If for law/arts at monash last year the clearly in was 98.2
however the fringe was 97.75
do i have any chance with a 97.45?
-
That's a great score! Being below last year's fringe makes the chances lower unfortunately. However, it wouldn't be impossible for you to gain entry, particularly in later rounds. So, I would keep it first on your preferences, but also make sure your other preferences are in the order you'd most like in case you don't get it.

thanks for your help.......... I hope i get in

I can't find the fringe atars for ANU. Link me?
I got a 96.5, and the cut-off for 2010 Arts/Law @ ANU was 96. What are the odds of it going up? I'd definitely make second-round, right? Again, can I see the fringe information? Google's not bringing anything up.

The 2011 indication in the ANU publications also looks to be unchanged. Law is still 96 and I think Arts is 82. Of course nothing is guaranteed, but I doubt it that it will change. ANU doesn't seem to react to demand the way other universities do.

Wait so it's officially 96 for 2011? I mean the page says it's official for 2011 but also says the exact requirement will be set at the time of offer. I went to the ANU advisory day and the lady said it barely made it to 96 last year and it's unlikely it'd make a massive jump to 97. Hoping and praying!
