Hi guys,
I was just wondering whether you are still eligible for a scholarship for a particular course if it is not you're first preference.
In my case Biomedicine at Mebourne was my 4th preference and I'm not sure what that means with regard to scholarship offers having just read this http://www.services.unimelb.edu.au/scholarships/ugrad/future/national.html (see under Selection). Basically does it matter that Biomedicine is not my first preference?
Thanks.

I don't think it does. I mean, you can get as many scholarships as you like, it just depends which one you are willing to take and which uni you decide to go to. Obviously, if you want to accept the scholarship, then you need to make that particular course your first preference, but other than that, you can get as many scholarships as the unis will give to you.

Do sport scholarships exist in Australia? :S

I think you need to apply to the Universities personally for that type of scholarship?

Not so. I was offered an engineering scholarship at Monash, and just needed to accept it in order to be enrolled in that course, without changing my preferences (engineering subjects were 3rd or less on my list.)
