lol. hell yeah
costargh in high school musical production, good work in presenting the way of the metro.
champ
LOL!!!
Our cast is awesome. Like its a super cast. Troy and Gabriella are a guy and a girl who can do the works, sing, dance and act.
Our school is pretty big on 'The Arts'. The person who is producing this whole thing is an actual musical producer who has her own musical production company, with many productions being sighted in various media.
Also the fact that its going to be at the Drum Theatre shows how much effort they are putting into this.

Who's this producer :o (I know a small segment of the amateur musical theatre crowd in the SE suburbs..)
I know the good majority of them, having done a show with MUMCo (and subsequently mingling in with the rest)...did you know that I was nominated for a TP People's Choice award last year =o?
OMFG a school's actually doing this as their musical I'M SO GOING
Costa are you a singer?

Hey guys me again,
Just wondering if anyone is planning on coming or has booked tickets? Saturday is very close to being booked out, Friday is very full and wednesday and thursday have plenty of seats left
Thanks Costa
Appreciate the heads up, I had checked that out in the diary and while I've
got your attention I'd just like to tell you how happy I am with all the
work you have put in and what you are doing on stage - you are fantastic and
are one of the few who has not let me down - it is much appreciated - and
you should consider doing some amateur theatre after you leave school as
your voice is very good - let me know if you are interested
Haha its opening night though exaclibur!!! We have to have a sell out lol.
For your benefit I'll just confirm that tickets will be sold at the door (it seem's obvious but I'll just check)
Haha. I don't know how impressive it will be but some of the songs we hav got down really well. ie the singing/dancing is all working really well.
heres the email the director sent me in late may. (L)QuoteThanks Costa

What you reckon? Maybe do some amateur theatre after year 12? ;)
I got no problem working with people of the 'non-hetro persuasion'. As long as they don't make a move on me lol
I wish I lived around Dandenong. I would kill to see costargh perform! :)
I wish I lived around Dandenong.I don't think you really want to..
I live in the Dandenong area...it's really not that bad.Damn.. I live like on the edge of Noble Park and Keysborough :S
It's Noble Park that used to be nasty in recent times. Oh, and Dandenong South / Doveton still is fairly average. And guess who's moving to Noble Park shortly..

A Musical to be remembered
7th August 2008 11:00:21 AM
STANDING ovations, curtain calls and raucous laughter in a world-class theatre.
Secondary school students from St John’s Regional College experienced all of that after last week’s outstanding performances of Disney’s High School Musical at the Dandenong Drum Theatre.
As many as 70 students involved themselves in acting, backstage, lighting, costumes and make-up, sacrificing Sundays and lunchtimes for the past 20 weeks to ensure that last week’s four performances of the hit musical left audiences gobsmacked by their quality.
High School Musical is based in the United States, where Troy, captain of the school basketball team, falls in love with singing after performing a duet with a girl named Gabriella.
Teacher Lee Geraghty directed the production, while art teacher Anne Aldis managed the stage.
Ms Aldis said the students had an ‘absolute ball’ working on the production, and that it all came together on opening night as they had wished.
“You always ask yourself what’s the best thing you remember about high school and the answer is never something in the classroom – it’s always extracurricular,” Ms Aldis said.
“Students will remember this forever.”
Drum Theatre technicians were on hand to help students learn about the stage production process.
All the hard work was worth it according to Ms Aldis, with audiences – including primary school students – loving every moment of the production.

This is more for excal, but I'll post it here anyway:
remember a few months ago, me talking about amateur theatre.
Well auditions were last weekend. I didn't go. But the lead guy in our schools one went and he got a call that he's got the role. The director asked me to come see her so I went and saw her yesterday. She asked me to be in the show (Leader of the Pack) even though I didn't audition.
:)
Amateur theatre here I come haha
