Hey,
Im in year 11 and i did one 3/4 which was health and human development. I went on the internet to check and it said
GA1: A+
GA2: A+
GA3: A
study score: 40
Is raw or scaled?
I myself thought it was definately the raw score which will then get marked down to around a 37 but i emailed my teacher who has been teaching for 10 years so i think she knows her stuff and i asked approximately what it will get marked down to and she said this:
Your 40 has already been marked down. It was probably originally 43 before mark down. You can see the 2008 scling report on the VTAC website. Visit it and see for yourself.
Is she wrong?

RAW

wrong

100% sure - she is wrong.
you only get scaled scores through VTAC - which year 11's have nothing to do with.
I got 44 last year in outdoor ed. WHICH was scaled to a 40.8 this year

Ohh... Someone else to add to my list. :P (And I agree with the others, your teacher is incorrect.)

RAWNG, though they do have this year's scaling report up, and since you got a nice round 40, you can see what you got (roughly).

and note grigg, what you get this year scales with this year eg. 40 raw scales to 2008 not 2009[not next year, if in case the teacher saids another thing]

what the 44 in outdoor ed, scales to last year since you did that last year

Yep, subjects are scaled according to the scaling applied on the year that you completed the subject.
My agreement was in that the teacher was WRONG WRONG WRONG x 3000.33333334
