web 2.0 wooooooo but then.. its everywhere, we need to stand out from the crowd.

Can we make a thread where people just post their logos and there can be a poll as well.
And I'm for web 2.0.

PAPER!!!1
but if u could move those papers (objects?) to the right instead of on top, then it'll look pretty damn awesome

What exactly is "Web 2.0" in reference to? I looked it up but it doesn't seem to have much relevance to design. Is it a type of style? I voted for this one by the way :)

marketing/hype term that i think represents the move to user-driven dynamic content portal website community social wiki blog global new

WTF. The web 2.0 isn't even a logo, it's a banner. :P

Isn't it the same thing?

The definition of "Web 2.0" is a disputed term which some people tout as a marketing term whilst others use it to refer to the transformation in web applications and services from the traditional means, some examples are the use of google adsense as opposed to the old style annoying pop ups and the huge flash ads down the side. Another example could be the change from internet explorer and netscape to browers like firefox and camino which include a wide range of new apps such as download managers, RSS etc. In terms of design, "Web 2.0" is usually referred to designs that are glossy and use a "roundy, thick" font and often have a reflective shadow. Some famous examples are the "Skype" logo and the web2go logo. So my understanding of the term Web 2.0 in a nutshell is really a synononym for "modern" and "innovative."
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT AN EXPERT, SO SOME INFORMATION ABOVE MAY NOT BE TOTALLY ACCURATE.

oh shush...its a picture :)

lol. A logo is (usually) a maximum of 256x256 px. It's like a littlemark thingo. Look at Apple, that's a logo; firefox's fox is a logo etc. :)
The Paper one is good logo :)

They all look awsome.
Web 2.0 Logo is the best, i reckon.
