Very interesting read...though not at all surprising =D.
Another area that this could be compared to are the convienience stores (7/11, Coles Express) - you're being charged for a product that you could have purchased in a supermarket for 25-50% less. What you pay for is the convienience (rather than walking all the way to the supermarket, you can buy it right here).
