Ok as the title suggests.. I was thinking of possibly transferring to another University, in say 2010 or 2009 [mid-year]... bareing in mind I keep up my HD average, how likely would it be for me to transfer?
Oh and does anyone advise that I don't transfer?
Any advice would be useful, thanks in advance :D

I would transfer without a doubt!!! Heck, I'm going to do it in 2010 (don't we VU students just want to go to another uni? ;))!
Your HD average is one to be proud of, Odette (I hope I get it next year, is it easy to achieve? :S), I don't know which uni wouldn't accept you. But it also comes at a flaw. If you were to transfer to Monash for example, then you would need to complete your whole course again, irregardless of what grades you have been achieving. That's the only thing that sucks about VU; you need to repeat the whole course at more prestigious Unis. XD
But definitely transfer, there are better job prospects waiting for you. :D

I don't mind repeating! Lol, as long as I can actually get accepted into the University :P although Monash is too far for me [It'll take me an hour to get there; if I'm lucky that is] .... so I was thinking Melbourne ... *will call the Melbourne Business Faculty [if that's what it's called]*

Good Luck

On a side note... MUST ENROL TODAY AT VU!

Best of luck with your transfer odette
There is one thing i read somewhere that some universities don't "value" the marks of other universities when considering transfers meaning you might have to start your course all over again, like you have said, or they might not accept you at all. This generally refers to the Go8 unis, which only include melbourne and monash in victoria
I heard a story about a QLD uni rejecting a transfer student because they attended a "second tier" university

Well I guess I can only try, still need to contact the faculty... ^_^
Oh and as for my re-enrolment yesterday .... *sigh* it took ages to re-enrol, so many people were there, so it took like 2 hours >_> mind you I was babysitting my sister so I had to take her along, and she kept nagging me :(
