Title: Counter strike Source ?
Post by: khalid!!! on May 04, 2008, 10:32:25 am: Umm, When i put all the setting on high on Cs:s i got 60 - 100 fps is that good enought for a Ati Radeon X1550 Overclocked to 650Mhz with 256 v-ram?

Besides, after V-Sync, 100fps is likely to be constrained to 60fps to much the screen refresh rate (typically 60Hz in LCDs)

i have to say that's pretty low-res.... (for current standards anyways)...

Post by: midas_touch on May 07, 2008, 08:25:35 pm: Used to play a bit of CS source myself. Anything above 50-60 fps is definitely good. It doesnt really matter what res u play on though. I alternate between 800x600 and 1024x768 myself.

Post by: excal on May 07, 2008, 10:00:58 pm: If you have an LCD, stick to the native resolution. It gives you a sharper picture (lower resolutions have to be extrapolated from the lower resolution to the higher one).
