Hope it will be a long night :)
Going for Federer, mainly cuz I want him to get the magic 6 in a row

Neither really is 'on top'. They are both playing at a very even level.
Nadal however got the early break as a result of Federer missing all his first serves in that game.

Going for Fed

I don't really like either players, but my prediction is for Federer to win in 5 sets (hopefully 21-19 in the 5th) haha that would be awesome - we'd be here till 6am lol

Grr... I think for large parts of that set federer was the better player. Some of the shots he did were incredible.
Federer is obviously vulnerable on his backhand unless its short and hes moving forward.

Has to get to the net if he wants to win. 90% of Nadals serves are to Federers backhand and his ground strokes are predominatly to federers backhand so hes gonna lose on his backhand when hes on the backfoot.

GET TO NET ROG

federer looks extremely uncomfortable and doesn't seem to be hitting high risk shots.. nadal has got him rattled

VAMOS RAFA!!!!!!!!

Federer is simply not winning the crunch points, and taking his oppurtunities.

Federer did very well to come back in that game, otherwise it was GG. Hope the rain doesn't come to interrupt the match.

I guess you just said it, the rain has interupted us. I actually believe that federer is playing better than nadal. evident through the amount of break points he has received. O well, just wait and see i guess

Yeah, gosh, so annoying... that must be so hard for the players to deal with too... all the anxiety, it would be like having to wait an extra half year for your vce results because they got all mixed up. (using relative time)

I know and wat a crappy roof they got as well, it takes like 15 minutes to close and shut.
Not like the great stadiums we got in melbourne such as rod laver, T dome.

.........................................

It doesnt even have a roof YET but if you noticed they have started construction on the roof which will be finished by next years wimbledon (didnt it occur to you why they had to keep going off when it rained?)
And it will be state of the art , made from material that allows light through (to let the grass grow and let natural light through) but will keep all the rain out

(Yes, this was just an excuse to flaunt that I ignore enwiabe)

GAHHH i recorded the match, but i didn't set the timer for long enough!!!
can't believe it was such an amazing match- and i missed half of it  >:(

i like both rafa and federer- on on hand i wanted rafa to win for a change, but i also wanted federer to win, so he could get a record. poor federer, this year is not his year.

btw, does anyone know what happened to tsonga?

Meh, he was just a one time performer....

sure, he might be up there in terms of the rankings, but wont consistently challenge for majors.

Just like baghdatis and gonzalez..........

If Federer can't at least make the final in the US open, then I consider him to be practically finished. The Rafaloution has begun.

admirable effort to win 2 grand slams and carry double knee tendonitis, scary to think what he is capable of when he is at full health
