anyone here go to st kevins? well if you do, how's the year 11 debaters? :p just cauze i want a bit of insight before we face them in play off rounds.
-
noooooooooooooooo, we just lost by 2 points. damn, stupid topic anyway! should parents have parenting liscence, we were affirmative. so hard top think of points. ah well, there's always next year.
-
Wow, a two point difference is a fairly close margin. That said, most debates are won and lost with one or two points difference.
-
Yeah... crappy topic.
U got the raw end of the deal there.
-
very close, it was left to the 3rd speakers and they just so happened to keep a gun on reserve for the third. No cue cards at all!
-
That's a pretty good tactic. Although they try not to be, adjudicators tend to be swayed by a good third speaker because they're the most memorable when they're finalising their scores.

Aww, I hope I adjudicate a debate with your school next year. They seem prepared and well educated. Bad topic, but you still were good to lose by only 2 points. We lost by 9 last round. :P
-
was that in the final play off rounds or just the regional rounds? are you apart of the coburg region?
oh yes and would be great if you adjudicated, :P maybe a bit of an inside job LOL.
9 is still good i guess. always next year,,, for me at least since your in year 12.
