Title: Okkervil River

hey guys im a massive fan of the band okkervil river and i don't know anyone has heard of them let alone like them. So i ask has anyone heard their music? if so what do you think?

i've heard 'black sheep boy' and i love it. strangely, i never got around to any of their other albums. any recommendation's?

yeh black sheep boy is their best album. They brought out another one last year but that nver did well and is quite different from 'black sheep boy'. They are bringing out a new album i think the release is september 9th called 'the stand ins'. This cd will carry alot of expectations as it has been suggested this could be the album that makes them big. So i would say check that one out for sure

I LOVE OKKERVIL RIVER.
plus ones = my favorite song.
you have good taste in music, no one knows who they are so im impressed.  :)

just downloaded the stand ins and am listening to it now for the first time. so far it's pretty awesome! anyone else had a listen?
