In short. No
They will not remove Physics

That's one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. Though there's slight overlap with chem and spec, but it's not a very major overlap. University physics also assumes that you know all the things covered in yr11&12 physics (the basics of waves & optics, quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, etc.). If you tried to do any uni physics course only on the back of spec and chem you'd be completely fucked.

Also I have no idea where this "much speculation" has come from, it's the first I've heard of it.

It will never get removed form the VCE course.

Removing it would be a stupid idea. No one understands it as it is, and all the engineering kids need *some* understanding of it.

And the overlap between spec and physics is tiny, you look at things from different angles anyway (it was quite fun, my spec teacher made up problems that were supposed to be hard that I solved in physics-y ways in 2 lines :D)

Lol yeah I do that with inclined slopes and conservation of energy.

I also heard that they were gonna morph BusMan, Legal Studies, Accounting and Economics together because all of them slightly overlap with eachother! ROFL. the subject will be called Business studies

I also heard that they're merging foundation, further, methods and specialist maths into one maths subject.

They are, but not out of choice. They get brainwashed into it and lose their ability to think rationally. That, tragically, makes them stupid.

Scientology treats any celebrity like a star, just so that they join up (and act as pin-up boys/girls for them)

Not sure if this really is a rant or debate, but much speculation has arisen over Physics actually still being a part of the VCE curriculum. Specialist is basically one portion of Physics, with the rest being split among chemistry and other related subjects. With this notion, is there really any point in continuing having Physics as a VCE subject anymore?
