Title: Product Yield

Calculate the percentage yield if 5.0g of ethanol is oxidised to produce 4.8g of ethanoic acid. I got a different answer from the back. Thanks in advance.

The answer i get is 74%

tell me if this is correct. if so i'll bother to put up my workings.

I got that too, but the book says 92%. Damn book. Thanks table  ;D

Yeah I got 74%, books wrong lol. Which book is it? Because looking through the forum there seem to be a lot of mistakes in chemistry text books...I hope Heineman is reliable lol.
