Hmm i would definately say drawing a triangle on the side helps me heaps... i get confused with the maps lol so i just draw a triangle on the side and add in the lengths...
Hope that helps you :)
Oh and I only covered an extra module just in case on the exam one is a little hard... (hard and further dont go together lol but you never know)

i think u are one of the most hard working student doing further. you learnt an extra module. not many students would do that. I hope it will benefit you a lot. I really want to see a 50 in further from this forum! good luck odette!!!

I got like... 36/40 for exam one and 52/60 for exam two when I did the trials about a month ago. Now that I've done more practise and will do a lot this weekend I'm hoping to get close to 40 for exam one about 55 for exam two. Any rough idea at where that'd sit me? (I was ranked in top 3 in class)

You'll go very close if you don't get the 50. Just take it at a steady pace and you shouldn't make any errors.

i think the core is the hardest, i have no idea about the deseasonalisation part, and time series part, and transformation is confusing

Aww, if you have any specific questions on the CORE, just post them up and I'll help you or someone else will :)

i hate graphs and relations
my friend did further last year
she dropped hardly any marks during the year, dropped oly 4 marks in the exam and got 41
but if this year's cohort (considering there is an extra 3000 students sitting exams this year) is different
then anything is possible
but the fact that your doing this well at this stage is great
the analysis , oh, gosh, i would kill to get a good mark on that

shiit wherd u hear that? is that because of the rule change of students being allowed to do both spec and further? if so getting a 45+ is going to be VERY VERY HARD :x

For the matrices section of VCAA 2006 Exam 2 Q1c: Explain why the matrix PQ is not defined.
PQ is defined. Was that a mistake made by VCAA?

Nah, P is of order 3x1 and Q is 2x3, since the no. of columns of P does not equal to the no. of rows of Q, PQ is not defined.
-
oh s***!! i must be blink to not see the dots in P
-
hehe.. this is why i'm so scared of making careless mistakes in further... i always lose 1-2 marks coz of this !! ><
-
lets hope we dont make this kind of stupid mistakes on the day *fingers crossed*
