I want to do Finance & Civil engineering majors through commerce, this is how ive planned my course, also in line with the sample course plans and MEETING the points count of 50 per semester.
For Semester one,
300-625 Transition to Commerce# 0 points I think 1 hr contact (not sure)
306-107 Accounting Reports and Analysis 12.5 points 3hrs contact
316-102 Introductory Microeconomics 1 12.5 " 3hrs contact
316-130 Quantitative Methods 1 12.5 " 3hrs contact
620-155 Calculus 2 12.5 " 4hrs contact
For semester 2
Total 14hrs !!
This is like 3 days of uni which is :)
but is it all correct????? Seems very weird to have such small contact hrs :S

Welcome to University.

That's very normal :P I only have 16 contact hours til week 6, and then I have 18, and only because I'm doing 2 languages (which have typically high contact hours)
Welcome to University.

Cool! That's awesome! I would love to do a language but the course advisor said i cannot with my combination which is considered hard.
PS

i have 16 contact hours i think. im not sure cos my human structure and function lecturer said we only have labs with him once a fortnight, which would reduce it to 14 hours. hmmm. i guess we will all find out for sure when allocate decides to hurry up and give us our timetables.
Edit: oops sorry to crash the UoM thread. but im guessing we will all be in the same boat (or simmilar)
