If I recall correctly, permutations aren't on the course right?
And do very difficult combinatorics questions come up frequently in Methods exams?
Thanks :D

I haven't done a lot of exam 2's, but i haven't seen any difficult combinatorics questions yet. It's really just used for questions with binomial distributions.

Yeah, the hardest combinatorics non-calc Q that I've seen is find nCr(4,2) and that's about it. Everything is just binomial...

Permutations aren't, but I think they can ask applied combinatorics questions... I never really saw them (that I can recall) on any exams, so I wouldn't worry too much, but know the basics just in case. I hated these so I was so relieved they didn't come up on either exam! :)

I dont think ive ever seen an nCr or an nPr question ever on a methods exam...
