Title: Tension!

I was doing the 2005 VCAA exam and on question 5 from the extended response, when I resolve for the tension I get 81.32 N (in terms of the 18 kg mass) but I if do so for the 12 kg mass I get 80.78 N. Why is there the difference? Shouldn't they be the same?
