I am currently in year 11 english and hardly do any work... should i be neglecting it so much?
Or you guys reckon i should start studying for it?
It just doesn't interest me at all??
How should I change for next year? 1 essay per week for practice??

In order:
No.
Yes.
Unfortunately, it counts :(
If you want, do as many until you feel comfortable with what you are doing. If that means one a week, then so be it :)
Good luck!

Lol every one neglects this damn subject .. You know that English is really important so you really have to focus on it. i didn't during year 11 and a lot has actually changed. Its not the end of the world i guess in yr 11 if your not really focussing on it but it would be much better for you to do early practice so if you start focusing and taking it seriously, your experience should be so much better in yr 12. However I remember being yr 11 and shocked at the idea that I had to write 500 word essay :O Its only been a year and i can go over 1000 words so a lot does change surprisingly.
If its one thing really, do not neglect English before your VCAA exams or leave it too late. Its easy to do because to sit there for 3 hours straight is really demotivating.
