Title: does completing a certificate boost your ATAR?

I recently completed a certificate III in retail managemant and sent the photocopy in to VTAC. i heard from someone that it boosts your ATAR by a little bit, is this true?

Perhaps you mean VTAC?

Yes it does boost your ATAR - but I am not quite sure if it will apply to you.
I have done Cert II and III in Retail and I wasn't allowed to just photocopy my certificate as evidence.
It was a periodical thing that my school was involved in so talk to your careers teacher.
Check with your apprenticeship service provider to see if they have sent your actual results (transcript) in to VTAC - don't count on getting an ATAR boost when you have only submitted a certificate as it so late in the process.
Not trying to be pessimistic - just letting you know that you should follow it up because my Apprenticeship providers were pretty slack and I was always on their case about not submitting my results on time.

I hope so i just photo copied mine and sent it to VTAC through my school...
