how important do u guys think microphones will be on the exam?

How important? It's in sound, each question is worth 2 marks. I don't think they'd have too many questions on it.

But either way, that'd be an easy 2 marks lost. If you're having trouble remembering definitions, that is what the cheat sheet is for.

Just put it on your cheatsheet. There will only be like 1-2 multiple choice questions on it (as it is only one 'part' of the sound detailed study).

I'd recommend you do something like: Name each of the types of microphones (dynamic, electret condenser.. whatever the other ones are - look in your book!) as well as note down the key 'principles' of each one ... like how they operate (electromagnetic induction, piezo-electric effect .etc) and I think that should be sufficient to answer the questions they throw at you.

But yes as laseredd said, it is an easy two marks - so better safe than sorry!
