yeah well I'm doing spesh this year, and I'm liking the content and would like to take a subject that builds on what I've done this year, would you guys recommend taking accelerated maths 1 and 2? What other options would I have?

What degree are you doing? If you're going to do maths, everyone has to do the same first year maths subjects: Calc 2 and Linear Algebra.
Accel maths 1 + 2 covers both these subjects, so content wise, you're not losing anything. ie. there are no other options in terms of content.
However, accel maths 1+2 also covers a second year subject, so you can save up on a subject if you were going to do this 2nd year subject anyway. Otherwise, the extra material will only add to your pleasure (or displeasure, if it's too hard).
But yes, I would recommend it if you like maths and/or are planning to undertake higher level maths.

Accelerated Maths 1 was basically alot of linear algebra and some vector calculus if i recall correctly and accelerated maths 2 is real analysis. I would say that accelerated maths 2 will take you into a very new realm of mathematics to what you have done so far in school. Some of my friends did wonderfully in spesh but just couldnt wrap their heads around the concept of mathematical proofs and just couldnt keep up with the rigor of that subject. That being said, real analysis is basically gonna be relearning calculus at a much deeper level. If you like maths and are willing to put some work in then im sure you will advantage from taking the accelerated route. Also you will need 39+ in spesh to do accelerated maths. I think if you get 35+ you can sit a qualifying exam in the summer. And hey DC, looks like we will be doing med together. :)
