Divisional structure further subdivides functional structure into deptartments. Likely divisions includes products, services, regions and customers. & Divisional Structure allows specialisation, thus leading to career path definition. & Due to complex heirarchy, good communication channel will be difficult to achieve. \\ \hline \textbf{Functional Structure} & Functional structure is when an LSO's workstation and resources are group base on their functions. Likely function will often include HRM, Finance, Operations System, Marketing, Research and Development. & & \\ \hline \textbf{(Organic) Network Structure} & Organic structure is when an LSO outsource its several of its non-core activities to external independent body. & This will allow management to save more time and focus on its core activities. & This may cause to loss of control over non-core activities such as employee training and IT. \\ \hline \textbf{Matrix Structure} & Matrix Structure is a form of combination between the specialised individuals between divisional and functional areas of an LSO. They join together to complete a project. & This is allow greater flexibilility and at the same time fluctuating workloads. This could also provide an optimum relationship between different departments. & \\ \hline \textbf{Geographical Structure} & It best suits multinational or transnational companies where an LSO have different branches in different locations. (cities, inter-state, locally, international). A head office and senior management is usually elected. Each branch will vary with functional and divisional depending on its size. & It increases the customer base of the LSO. Employees can have opportunity to work internationally. It could also provide customer good will. & Difficult to adopt to legislation and organisational culture. Main branch can lose coordination and control over international branch seeking different objectives and goals. \\ \hline \textbf{Bureaucratic Structure ???} & Bureaucratic Structure involves many level of heirarchy of an LSO. & & Communication Channel will be complex hence will be hard to convey. \\ \hline \textbf{Flatter Structure ???} & This involves few levels of management and mainly middle management is minimise. & This will allow greater communication between management and the subordinates and can create a more optimum relationship & remaining employee may be more stress than before as both management and subordinates have more duties and tasks to fulfil than usual.\\ \hline \end{tabular}$
