Hey guys,
I know this is quite a popular subject so I thought I'd try - does anyone happen to have the lectopia recordings? If so I'd be massively thankful if you could upload them over so I can get a bit of a headstart over the summer.

Just enrolled in this subject haha, yeah i would love the lecture recordings too! Also if anyone has ANAT20006 - Principles of Human Structure lecture notes/ recordings they would like to share? would very much appreciate it!!! :)

Yes I would also be interested, the recordings would be useless without screen capture though, unless someone has bothered to download lecture notes. If you want a head start just read the outline of the subject and corresponding sections of the text

I would very strongly advise against prepreparing for anatomy. It's so ridiculously complex that you'll probably just waste your effort and get frustrated. Wait until you get your lectures to actually understand what needs to be learnt.
As for physiology, I don't have lecture notes but if you grab Silverthorn et al, it's a pretty simple read. Physiology isn't too hard to understand, so I wouldn't think you'd need lecture recordings.

We need to make a database or somethingggg...of notes and non-distributed prac exams (eg evil Biology with their one practice exam per year) and recordings. I will promise to keep all of the lecture notes and recordings for my subjects next semester if everyone else does!

Yes I am keeping all of my stuff (that's useful) so it'd be a good idea. I guess we kind of need to look out for copyright though. For our purposes it makes no difference because we would be accessing the material later on anyway, just don't want it in public domain in case someone kicks up a stink.
Russ - I already have Silverton :P Do I dare take it on holiday and risk someone placing a hold on the book? Challenge accepted.
PS - it's at RMIT library, but if any one of you places a hold on it as a joke there will be trouble :P

Yeah, accessing exams that you're not meant to have (ie that somebody smuggled out of the exam room) are academic misconduct, so do be careful.
I have all my old stuff, but it's all hardcopy with my written notes on it, so I can't put it up. I can put up the biomed anatomy mid sem tests actually, they let us keep those (if I can find them).
Nah don't take silverthorn on holiday, so not worth it lol

If you're good at absorbing concepts then I think the Physiology course is quite light. But if you're more of a memory-oriented learner, then it may be a bit challenging. Either way, I don't think getting ahead is really necessary, unless you plan to go beyond the course and learn everything.

It's more that I worry I'll be really busy with Connect Education (as I was this semester) so I want to make use of my summer.

Russ, the exams I mean are just the practice ones they put up! But they only give you one a year, they're not the actual exams used and some of the questions are sometimes the same but there is a difference between the questions. It's obviously beneficial to have more than one practice exam! Not ones truly used as past exams...
Hahaha, stealing books from RMIT is my thing! At least it was, but my boyfriend just graduated so I think that will only be an option until Feb/March next year. What a shame! It's so good to be able to borrow a textbook and keep it the whole year with nobody requesting it!
But now I really want to place it on hold just for the lols.

I finished the whole viscera and visceral course before the semester and it didn't help. So don't bother and enjoy the summer :P

Just so you know, you CAN borrow books from other universities without having a friend do it for you. It's called a CAVAL card, you can get one at the uni library.

There's no way you can renew with it? I borrow the textbook and literally keep it for the whole semester! I'm returning my psych textbook to RMIT library tomorrow...

Eh, I don't know, i use my dad's magical lecturer powers to get textbooks for the whole semester so *shrug*

Yup me. Worst idea to revise for one day/night. Brain was so messed up this morning...everything I read just went straight out. On the other hand, although I was expecting the exam to be a disaster, it wasn't AS bad as I thought... still couldn't do like 1/4 of the questions though hah...
Hmm a lot of people think physiology is hard, but I personally think Anatomy is by farrr the hardest... maybe just cause I have bad memory.
