for those 08'ers that did chem last year,

does the data booklet detach from the actual exam paper?

I think it's a separate booklet - no need to detach it yourself.

It is too thick to attach to exam paper. If they did, everyone would rip the exam apart.

(They attach it for Physics as theres only 2 pages...)

Yep it's separate. Make sure to remember to keep your one from mid year to use afterwards in class and in doing trial exams for the end year =P
