hey... well, let's just say, I don't really remember whether the enrolment site let me pick my own username or not, but I don't really like my monash user name and I'd like to change it.. I only enrolled yesterday. Is it possible to change my username??

i'm not too sure, but i don't think its possible.
The WES enrolment system gives you an automatic username... so, not sure if its possible to change it especially if it checks if that username is free etc...

You can't change it.
Usernames are allocated based on your first initial, second initial (if there is one) and then three letters from your last name, followed by a number. Say your full name is Jane Elizabeth Smith, you might get jesmi1. But say in the next year, Jasper Elijah Smithington comes along, he would have the same letter combination. Seeing as jesmi1 is already taken, he would be allocated jesmi2.

That doesn't work either.
I had to get my surname corrected, which should've altered my username, but didn't. Oh well. :(
