HI guys i'm looking for some easy breadth subjects to do whilst im completing my Science degree :)
any suggestions?
-
Pick something you enjoy. You will find it easy.
For me, I would take Music and Professional writing
-
You pay for the subjects you choose to do. So do something that interests you and will enjoy.
-
Choir! :D
-
Intensive Latin ;)
Srsly, sports coaching.

CBF Breadths:
~Music Psychology
~Wine Tasting
~African Drum and Dance
~Sport & Education in Australian Society (remember how easy PE was in school)
And now the easiest breadth...where you the whole subject is just to go on an excursion and answer 20 questions (just remember to not write over the word limit or you lose marks):

Yeah I'm doing this in September. I have a friend who did it last year - in the first tute he wrote an answer of about 300 words and the tutor told him that it was too long and detailed and he should cut back!
A stupidly easy 12.5 credit points.

Does anyone have feedback on "MGMT10002 Managing and Leading Organisations" ??
https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2011/MGMT10002
Seems pretty simple enough.

sounds a bit like the vce business management course. relatively easy to get through, i suppose, and not entirely useless.

From a commerce background, maybe... A lot of my friends found it difficult though the contact hours were good (y)

How smart would you rank your friends??? because i'm planning to do microeconomics and i have no background in commerce whatsover :/
-
I'd say Music Psychology, Music & Health and any music practical subject =D Not only are they easy but in comparison to Science subjects its not time consuming at all.

Is it still easy to achieve an H1 in this subject with no Science/Agriculture background whatsoever?

It's easier than you think :) You just buy the book and summarise it. How easy is that LOL
Btw only ~25% get H1 because everyone thinks it's a bludge and don't end up putting in the effort. So if you want the H1, don't assume it will magically appear on your transcript :P

They got around 80-90 ATAR, no commerce backgrounds and doing engineering. They all got Ps except for one other person who got H3 but he did accounting in year 12. You will be unwilling to put effort into it cos its ur breadth, just a mentality that most of us had.

Lol excuse this question but breadth subjects are optional right?

Nope, you have to do 4-6 breadth subjects (12.5 credit points each) in bachelor of environments, commerce, biomed or science. Not sure about arts.
-
Ahh ok thanks. I must have gotten that confused with something else...
-
I just realised that EVSC20003 Forests in a Global Context is actually a level 2 breadth. Does this mean I can't enrol into this as a first year student? :-[
-
unless there are no prerequisites! you can enrol in first year if there aren't anything to fulfill...
correct me if im wrong.

Don't worry, you can enrol in it :)

I've gone through the handbook looking for easy breath subjects to do and this is what I'm considering. I like IT though so I would think these subjects would be really easy for anyone with good IT knowledge.

In commerce you can do up to 8 breadth actually (or more if you're in an engineering stream, usually 9). As for arts, the handbook seems to be unclear (possibly wrong) cause it suggest you only do 4 breadth subjects, whereas I'm pretty sure you can do 4-6.

Out of interest, what did you do for breadth? Lots of Jap I'm assuming?

Yeah uni jap, which counted as 2 subjects, and another 3 units of japanese, so 5 altogether. Doing subjects I liked for both my major and my breadth really helped me keep a high GPA, so I think easiest breadth can = most enjoyable subject.
