Title: Breadth Track- Computing/Philosophy
Post by: azure on January 27, 2012, 10:46:53 pm
Has anyone completed the Computing breadth track/done this subject: COMP10001 Foundations of Computing?

What do you think about the difficulty of the course for an absolute beginner in computing... would it be too much for someone who is completely un-computer-literate?

Would you recommend trying subjects in the IT in Organisations breadth track instead?
ISYS10001 Foundations of Information Systems?

EDIT:

Would anyone recommend this subject in terms of it being interesting - PHIL10002 Philosophy: The Big Questions?

I'm pretty sure both of these subjects are new for 2012, after they remodeled the computer science/software studies program this year.
