Bad. It was on a case study of Heinz which was out of 20 marks. So if i do drop 1 mark I'm screwed. I do believe I probably around 85-90% but considering I want to get a 45-50 study score in BM, I'm not very happy at all.
-
Dude, is all cool my friend. I got 17 / 20 in my first sac (although this is MHS), and still got 46. Don't worry too much, you'll make it up with other SAC's. Just do your best.
-
Yeah really do hope so, didn't drop 1 mark last year in SAC's and exams so was pretty confident...thinking a bit too confident for this SAC actually.
This should set me straight
-
I averaged 93% for SACS in a really shit cohort, and then demolished the exam and got 50.
-
Great to hear! giving me a lot to hope for, thanks guys/gals
-
What was on your SAC Sam?
We have our SAC on Monday and incidentally is on Heinz.
Hopefully you can help me out ;)
-
Really a bit of everything, you have studied. I'm surprised they told you what company it will be on.
I had a odd question regarding what the term 'deregulation' meant and the advantages and disadvantages of it.
-
Mine was on Heniz as well lol. Guessing the questions were probably all the same.
-
Mine was on Juicie Pty Ltd.. I didn't even that company existed lol! But it was worth 20 marks too.. I reckon I done pretty well.. but kinda fucked up on the objectives/strategies bit because I didn't put in context. But will see! Hopefully 18-20 would be good.

That's the question i screwed up on i didn't link it back to the case study very well, question was something along the lines of "evaluate the 2 main strategies used by Heinz to create globalization."
-
yep had that exact same question...and pretty sure I fucked it up.
-
Yer the question wasn't very clear.. didn't know whether to put it into context or come up with some strategies/objectives which could be relevant to the organisation not necessarily to the case study.
-
If you guys had the same SAC what 2 KPIs did you use for the final question? I used Number of sales and Percentage of Market share i was going to use profitability but eh.
-
Got my results back.. Got a 100%.
How'd you guys go?
-
Just got mine back, only got 17/20. Pretty darn unhappy about it.
-
That's alright mate. There are still more SACs to go, the exam is the most important, anyway.
-
I got 18/20 on my first SAC and only got full marks on a SAC once.
Keep persisting Sam, that is far from a bad result.
-
I have mine on Tuesday...pretty damn nervous.
I have bad memory so here's hoping. Don't know what I'm supposed to do. Teacher only gave us 2 practice SACS, 1 of which she corrected... Downloaded some practice SACs from here but they don't have solutions so can't see how I'm doing. Just typing up more notes now.

You're very lucky, my teacher never gave me any prac SACs, I had to source everything I could. Alot of VCE teachers from my own experience aren't keen on giving you practice SACS. The best ones will though.

i had a mate lost around 25 marks year had a low A+ average was ranked 10 going into exam. Came out with a 42 in a strongish cohort.
-
20/20 not sure how, i should of lost 1 mark but ill take it (weak cohort)
One kid got 4/20 :o
-
Well done Ajsguns
lol, the guy the guy that got 4
