Hi guys, so I just got my first SAC back, it was a prac report on the making of aspirin.. And I didn't do as well as I would have liked. I got 23/25, and there were a fair few students by the sounds of it who had 24/25 and one girl with 25/25. So is it still possible for me to get a 40? I'm in a strong cohort at a school that does pretty well every year..

Yes.

You should only be the slightest bit concerned if you are in a very weak cohort which rarely has students score >40 in Chemistry.
Even if this was the case, let's put it like this; so far you're 2 marks behind, you probably have 5-6 (maybe more, possibly less?) SACs left, so as the year progresses these 2 marks will become more minute and you should be able to quite easily overtake other students.
If your cohort is strong, as you say it is, you shouldn't be worrying at all, but still aim to improve and get that number one rank.

dpnt worry that score it pretty good if you jut want a 40+ mark
if you keep that up you will most likely get in the low 40's
but hey dont stop trying, TRY YOUR HARDEST!
...........wait IM HELPING THE ENEMY!!
.......lol my chem teacher last year said "everyone taking the chem exam are you enemy's, you cant help your enemy's"!!!
anyways dont worry you will be fine.
