How fast are you doing them in? Is it possible to slow down?

How many times do your read every MC question and every possible answer (I'd recommend at least 4: reading time, when you get to the question, immediately after you answer the question, again when checking over the finished paper)?

It's actually retarded, first I was getting ~95%s in like 50 minutes, then >97% in less than 40 minutes, but lately I've tried to slow down to eliminate errors, and have run into a rut of low 90%s after slowing it down to ~60 minutes.

Don't slow down. Work at your natural pace. If you slow down intentionally, then you feel uncomfortable and start making mistakes.
