Title: Is it too late?

I was a good physics student last year that averaged around 95%. However, this year, physics has really bored me and I've lost all motivation and priority for the subject. I am instead focusing on my other subjects that I thoroughly enjoy.

With 6 weeks left until the exam, I only know the basics of motion as I have not revised it, and I do know electricity fairly well. Is it worth putting the time in to save my unit 3 exam score? I have rank 1 in the class with the next SAC next week.

I just think that I will get a better score in my other subjects, so it put me off it a bit. Is 6 weeks enough time for me to pick up my game and get into the high A or low A+ region?

Hey, I did the majority of my physics study (~75% for unit 3 and ~99% for unit 4) the day before the exam or the day before SACs (the exclusion is the EPI which took some time to write up) and I ended up getting a 41 (class rank 2 in SACs somehow...) :)

6 weeks is PLENTY of time mate :)

Wow so did I.  One practice exam on the day before with hardly any study as well lol. VCAA 2010 I think. If you are rank 1 you should probably keep going. I was rank like 3-4 (cohort of about 25?) and got A+ for SACs. If anything just keep the rank lol for the score.

I got full marks for my first sac (electricity)... kinda overstudied for it. Assumed physics would be a breeze so I only studied like 2-3 days before the next sac. Followed it up with a strong 19/40 for motion and im thinking that I lost at least 2-3 study scores from this failure. This whole experience has really  made me lose all motivation for the subject (was one of my better subjects last year) and I'm contemplating whether I should focus less on it because I really do not like all this motion crap

I think that was just a misjudgment because motion has a LOT more content than electricity. Keep up the study but just focus on motion. I did my electricity SAC today with no study and a good cheat sheet and I'm pretty sure I pulled off pretty much the highest mark.

Thanks guys for all your help, I think it couldn't hurt to try and do well, but it'd just be a competitor with Bio for the top 4 I think.

GL in physics dude! Im looking to try and score full marks on my structures and materials and maybe scrape a low A+ for this terms sacs. Hopefully the legendary myth that "Your sacs will scale up" proves to be true
